From Shape to Object
HEROBJECTS takes its name from her hero objects, pronounced HER OBJECTS, a play on words that balances feminine and masculine energy. It reflects a way of thinking about jewellery as both ornament and object, sculptural yet intimate.
The HEROBJECTS range is designed in Saudi Arabia integrating a continual thread of inspiration and conversation to land on something tangible and exciting to develop. Our founders’ roots trace back to Saudi Arabia and therefore the pieces reflect their origin.
The product is technically developed and produced in Thailand with our trusted jewellery workshop who work with high quality 18K solid gold.
Each object begins with a form, considered in relation to the element and landscape it is inspired by. The HERO object mechanism is developed alongside it, refining the closure until it sits seamlessly within the design. The form is designed using CAD, then 3D printed in resin to create a silicone mould, from which a master is cast. From there, each component is shaped through casting, assembly, laser work and final polishing. The result is a sculptural piece crafted from 18k solid gold, created to be worn often and kept over time.
Matter and Substance
HEROBJECTS necklaces are the secondary foundation integral to the design. Using natural and fine quality pearls for an elevated look and working with finely woven cords to create a more casual look is at the heart of our founders’ priorities. The interchangeable aspect of how to shop and wear the jewellery means there are many possibilities which in turn become more individual to each person. The selection and sourcing process of pearl quality, type and colour, and cord thickness and colour means we can continually offer new and different bases.
Designed with an enquiring mind the brand continues to develop initial concepts through varying sample processes – this freedom to explore means we have a lot of beautiful product ideas coming through.
A Language of Form
The collection follows a language of fluid form. Rounded volumes, softened edges, surfaces that feel shaped over time. The kind found across Saudi Arabia, where wind moves across sand, clay dries under heat and stone is worn smooth at its edges. Shells, seeds, carved openings and walls marked by shadow. A spiral that keeps returning.
Alongside this sits a more contemporary presence. Sculptural architecture, earthen tones and clean structural lines.
Gold, pearls and cord are chosen for their weight and feel as much as their appearance.
The HERO object remains constant and has inspired our Mini Heroes range.
